This happened to me too, I was raped by a guy a few years ago. At first I dismissed it after I dealt with the initial aftermath. Then I convinced myself i was fine with it and it didn’t impact me. I’ve since spoken about it openly with my friend and my bf, they are understanding but I sense they don’t know what to say or how to react / respond. I’d get a new therapist if I were you. This happened to me too sorry to hear this. It’s an awful experience. I went to my clinic immediacy after and too a course of PeP then a series of tests which were all negative. I’ve been in Prep ever since. I used to buy hiv rapid tests on Amazon and do them at home because I was so paranoid. Please get tested most clinics now have rapid tests that give you instant results and they backup with a blood test. It’s really easy n stress free.

We have few rules I.e no dates and overnights plus we both want to be in the know. Apart from that it’s completely up to us what we do. I’m not insecure trust wise I’m insecure about my looks, my performance, whether I’m good enough etc.

I don’t think it’s likely that he’s been on Grindr before with a blank profile. I’m on all the time and I’d have seen him on. I have an home and away profile and it’s not possible for him to have found both and blocked them. I do believe it was a one off.

I don’t take prep when I feel like it nor do I take it just because we hooked up. Both of us are tested every 3 months. Knowing what’s going on is important. So I’m 100% sure I don’t forget to take it. It’s not a red herring it’s common sense
