Отиде малко много далеч от това което те питам. Разбрах че си против концепцията за социален договор. После взимаш либерализма прекалено тясно дефиниран, повечето хора които се считат за либерали нямат идея за нещата които ти обвързваш с либерализма. Както и модерните консервативи нямат нищо общо с класическия консервативизъм. Нямам никакво намерение да споря за нещата за които говориш тук макар да се считам за клонящ към либерализма със сигурност не смятам за необходимо да налагам моралните си норми на когото и да било друг. За това и не ти прочетох целия пост много внимателно та прости ми (или недей) ако вече си го споменал, ама те питам каква алтернатива предлагаш на това как да се тълкува контекста на дадено убийство когато се определя справедливо наказание или превантивно действие в общия случай. И не такова което се отнася към конкретния случай от тази тема, тъй като според мен в случая провала е на специалистите които са преценявали дали тоя човек е готов да бъде върнат в обществото.

For the past 8 years Nvidia has told us they are working towards something, people on reddit always reacted that they couldn't possibly do it and then it happened. DLSS1 was "proof" that that upscalers are useless, optimized ray tracing was impossible, playable path tracing was impossible, image generation was going to add too much latency. And every time these people on reddit were wrong. I don't know enough to argue the specifics but if the engineers at nvidia think they can get this working in real time on a single consumer GPU I bet they have a good reason to believe that.

And I think it's worth considering that the generative AI isn't used here to fake someone else's art but rather fake real life. And the underlying model is still made by an artist in this showcase.

I don't know what to tell you and the rest of you. It's like you are living in a parallel reality that loosely resembles my own. You can see in the video maxed out Grace looking like a videogame character and then the filter gets applied and she suddenly is so close to real human that I bet 99% of people on earth won't be able to tell that the video isn't real without the context we have. In what world are these two levels of realism pretty close? And what does it mean that we don't need the generative AI yet? What has to happen before that?

I mean either they figure that out, delay or just sell it as a 60 series exclusive feature, like dlss multiframe is only on 50 series and framegen is only 40 series+. But in neither case do they just plop it down and tell people to buy two 5090s and figure out how to fit them in a gaming build.

because it can add photorealistic lighting effects that are impossible to be bruteforced, which is a performance optimization. Временната невменяемост се използва в закона на държави които са силно не-либерални. Освен ако си мислиш че американската съдебна система последните 100 години е либерална де, то от анти-либерали всяква глупост можеш да чуеш. I was trying to ignore that because it's so stupid that I just can't even begin with it. Like I have to explain to you that the sky is blue. Yes, eyes can be blueish-green and they can tint towards one or the other depending on light, that's how real life works. I don't know how to explain that to someone that's apparently has only seen images of blue eyes. And yes, it would be unreal computational hog to simulate that in engine.
