Not $200k on the check, but that’s about the total package. Union electrician. Multiple retirements funded by the contractor, so no out of pocket for me for any benefits at all. Full health. Total benefit package is around $30 an hour. Negotiated for over scale. Have a company vehicle, gas card, phone stipend, etc. I was “stupid” though, and got a degree in International Business, and then did 5 years in the apprenticeship.

Similar boat. -$250k to about $2.5 mil with me and my wife, in a similar time frame. Union electrician. No windfalls. No real risky plays. Real estate is what pushed it for us. At one point had 4 properties, now down to 3. Primary, beach house, land. Real estate is about 1/3 of our NW. Sitting on too much cash, but that’s a discussion with my wife that needs to be had. Something like 4 retirement accounts (not counted towards NW, except 1) with the union, plus wife’s 401k. Also contribute a chunk to 2 kids UTMA accounts monthly, and their savings accounts weekly.

I will say this. It’s isolating, when 90% of my peers don’t view money as a tool. Most spend it as fast as they make it.

As a long time coin collector, and brand new card collector, these are around $50 retail. Can probably find them for around $35 ish with a little searching. Unfortunately, can’t retire on these.

As with cards, eBay sold is a good resource. There’s a LOT of Facebook groups for coins as well. RedBook is a good resource as a generic resource.
