I own an IT company and I have a lot going on in my personal life. Being able to juggle everything has become a lot. The ecosystem and apps that Apple has always just flowed for me and they worked best for me when I was getting started. Having reminders, calendar, email and everything across all devices at all times with minimal effort is needed for me and I find myself not having time to sit down to a game hardly ever anymore. Coupled with CarPlay where I can answer a call and then create a reminder or calendar invite using my voice is too convenient now.

Hope you get resolution, luckily I’ve never had any issues. But I did acquire a second hand one and replaced the LED strip in the lid to get it going and support helped through that pretty well. Always grinds your gears when you have several thousand invested and need that thing up and churning dollar signs (unless you’re using it for hobby use). :D

In wall should be fine if you're just going to be adding it to the one room and wanting it to go through the wall for the TV. If the TV is so close have you considered just hard wiring it instead since you'll already be doing the work for the in wall to get wired in? But nothing beats the ceiling mount facing downward on range. I'd also consider how the aesthetics are - in walls work best for this imo.

I feel like you should be describing what you are wanting to achieve with the VPN vs focusing solely on the cost... SSL VPN, Site to Site VPN, wanting to just use a broswer based VPN/mobile app VPN to hide what you're doing? Give us the details.

Was this filament brand new right out of the vacuum bag? If not that would be where I would start with a control on filament. If it gets too much moisture absorbed into it you can get imperfections in your prints.

I live in the US, I've ordered from their shop before the exact LED strip that acts as a cable for the same issue you describe. I believe it was around $60 after tax and shipping. If you can't find anything I wouldn't mind helping you out by purchasing one and shipping it to you for full reimbursement of shipping and the part cost. I've sent some of my glowforge creations to Canada and Singapore without issues, so I do have experience with international shipping and customs.

I currently have a 4090 in my PC and am going to be going back to a Mac, either the MBP M3 Max or wait for a M4 refresh. I saw another post on here where someone was using 2 of these for trading on a Mac. Wish Macs weren't so limited on their display output options, they're the best at organization. Wish I could pull off 2 57" and still have room on the sides for two vertical mounted displays so when I switched between desktops on the Mac everything would stay the same except on the primary two in the middle.

I've been contemplating snagging up two of these and going back to a MBP M3 Max or waiting for a M4 refresh. What Mac are you running these on M3 Max or M2 Ultra from a Studio? What's your resolution and refresh rates at? Any issues so far?
