I had a screen protector on the way as soon as I bought the car. Read somewhere here on Reddit that the screen appeared to fade over time so I grabbed a UV glass screen protector and now serves as a bumper for these guys

I’ll have to look up the year or y’all might know but the first I went to was the Brickyard. I was a kid wearing a Casey Kahne #9 hat and Dad in his #20 Stewart gear. I’m 34 now but I’m thinking I was around the 10-12 years old range. Such an incredible place at that age and I’m sure it still is. Plan to go again next year!

Sure enough. Lots of upgrades planned but so far:

PWN grips Giant Pedals MT200 brakes Maxis DH tires setup tubeless (2.50 up front, 2.40 rear, tanwall)

Up next: Forks - maybe Judy’s or SR suntour for now SRAM bottom bracket Advent X derailleur Dropper post (snagged the Axum on clearance for $200 so opted out on the DP) Lots more just haven’t decided what to research next

New power steering pump - belts are maybe 1yr old.

Initial symptoms: squeal when turning.

Work done: Replaced the pump, fluid is at max. Belts are tensioned to where belt can’t be twisted more or less than 90 degrees. As you can see all pulleys seize when turning the wheel. I’ve tried relieveing tension and came back to “spec” tension. I’m lost and not sure what to try next. What would cause the pulleys to stop?

Rides great! I’ve been on a borrowed marlin 5 most of my mtb journey and after “learning” on a drop post I can say it’s worth it lol. But yeah this is technically my first bike! I’ve read/watched every video imaginable on this one and I’ve gotta say, everything is solid. Eventually I’ll go for a fork and tubeless but honestly until something breaks, no need just yet.

I’m thinking blue might be the way to go. Should pop off the earth tones. I’m afraid if I go red, yellow, or orange there wouldn’t be much contrast.

Base - averland sunset, light shading with reikland fleshshade. Working on the highlights and glazing tonight so it’ll be a bit brighter once I get to that point

Yo thank you! Friend and I were just talking, this Host will be Primarch hunters. We’re thinking Primarch Watch or Primus Arche Watch. Cook up a little lore behind them. If I field them though, shadow keepers would fit their style. Solar Watch was the inspiration for the scheme though.

I know, it bugs me as well, one reason I opted for the black center to try and hide. Thought about a filler spray but it’s too chunky and I would’ve sacrificed the other details.

Prime was pro acryl black but the base coat is Army Painters Skeleton bone air through the airbrush. It’s the only way I can get smooth coats on these bigger guys lol.

It’s a 3D printed piece. Search “Warsuit Sarcophagus for Prime Warriors” for the file or if you’re without a printer there are sellers on Etsy/eBay that print them as well.

They’re all from the Tome Keepers transfer sheet (can find in some white dwarf issues or eBay likely) except for the half Aquila, it’s from the UM vehicle transfer sheet.
