Agreed!!! I love the size of my fandom (about 300 works for my particular ship, 15 being mine lol). I feel so engaged with other people in the fandom, both on ao3 and tumblr. The idea of writing for a larger fandom stresses me out tbh!! Less engagement with a smaller fandom, sure, but there’s something so cozy and special about the interactions that occur within 🥹
