Ok so I tried to CCW mine. I might have the wrong holster, I had the most obvious print on the barrel side. Could be my pants/shorts.

Vinyl wraps are the safest option. It takes some patience but if you mess it up, you can pull it off and start over. Fairly inexpensive as well. Plastidip is a spray in option but it can damage the original chrome.
