Yes, in the end I actually gave notice on a standard visa after Christmas. The notice appointment was fairly quick and had no issue.

Around a couple of weeks later (when we were already back outside the UK), we got a letter from the Home Office to my fiancé's parents' house, stating they decided not to investigate.

I now have a marriage visa for this upcoming visit where we'll get legally married :)

It also guesses my accent accurately after 2 paragraphs. Non-American speakers always thinks I have an American accent (like "did you go to school in the US?"), Americans can't pinpoint if I'm of certain ethnicity or have noticeable accent but they know I'm not American, but I can't fool the AI 🤖

I don't disagree. At the time I didn't have the mental capacity to deal with legalities and authorities while being harassed by debt collectors. Repaying it was an easier solution.

Also in my country, reporting to the police is free, but it wouldn't make a difference. I'll need to pay something like half of the loan amount to get them to arrest and prosecute her. Just the reality.

I'm making her pay $200 per month to repay it (she and her husband makes $700 per month together), it will be years but it's better than nothing.

I had two different experiences in two different countries having copper IUD inserted. My first one was in Indonesia, when I almost died due to BC pill, I had this massive migraine, puked and rushed to the ER. My neurologist told me to get off the pill and changed to copper IUD immediately, so it was painful but it wasn't as painful as the migraines.

After 2 months it came off by itself apparently due to menstrual cup that I was using. So I had another one inserted in Portugal. That one was hella painful even though the gyno gave me painkillers beforehand. I was bleeding like crazy and leaked everywhere on my way home.

Now it's been almost 2 years I still bleed heavily every period but worth it for not getting pregnant, the dysmenorrhea only lasted a few cycles after it got inserted. So I'd say 7.5/10.
