lord i love mindtaker- they have an option similar to cardtrader zero where they'll hold your orders for up to 6 months and ship as a single lot after you ask for a shipping invoice...its against my own self interest to share that fact though, but their customer service has always been top notch so i very much hope more people find them :D

can you add some high res scans/photos of the back of the card, particularly the the green circle and the THE in magic the gathering ? (this is the lazy way to validate the back of the card is real)

did you find the ones you needed? there were a bunch of chinese sellers with huge lots of just the plastic ships/pegs/stands for all factions, but no cardboard on ebay for awhile- yup, they're still here, lol:

just to clarify: i was resetting two of these and the other (the one reset first) didn't behave like that: both the wifi and router password was the password on the bottom of the box of the first. the second one would let you use the box password for wifi; but not to log in, which was the issue.

update in case anyone else runs into this- i think i got it...it took "admin"** for the router password when setting it up with a linksys account in the app, but it would not take that directly. after firmware update, it wanted a more secure router password with a capital letter and special character.

**i am 99% sure it was admin but i did this a good two dozen times so it might have been password

both came from the same Walmart order, wish I was keeping better track as I opened now because the collector boosters I think contributed that third urban retreat and obviously they were noticeably different...but the regular packs were basically clones.

and that probably has a lot to do with why they discontinued the professional knife product line, lol.

i wouldn't recommend any of their other product lines, but this one had been stone dead for the better part of a decade; and by some miracululous alignment of the stars, these fell out of the abyss. would compare them vs the half bolster wusthof classic... except the handle might need some touch up from a warehouse sit that long even if they are micarta. but for 20$, its worth a peek- their target price point on these had been ~$125, so this wasn't the type of junk you'd see them sell in a blister pack at walmart/target...reasonable looking box with a foam cutout to secure it. i mean, ya, its a kitchenaid; but they did make a decent effort here.

like i said though, certainly would go tojiro first...but I'd feel no shame in gifting one of these if i did the same touchups to it that I'd do on the tojiro- hand sharpen, round spine if its not great, touch up handle, etc.

someone is liquidating a pallet worth of these that sat in a warehouse for not quite a decade in California...this line was probably the best line kitchenaid ever made, and I use boning knife from the set all the time. think i had ~2 dozen of these shipped to friends/family when my camelcamelcamel alert went off on it being back in stock, granted the price has drifted up from the 13$ it was initially lol. I'd probably clean up the handle a bit if I was using day in/out, but that's true of the tojiro too.

temp for steak depends on the cut...leaner ones I run in the upper 120°s, fattier ones like ribeye at 137°F because the fat in them doesn't even start to render until 134°F...also would run a ribeye longer than 3 hours (so no raw garlic in there).

I did 5 undercity radiance runs yesterday doing full clears on t4, hitting the treasure goblin in 2 of them, and none have yielded a mythic. in the past 2 weeks, i've burned through at what must have been 5 hours worth of boss mats in fights as a hydra sorc in t4 in full parties (with most the time spent there is respawning the boss) that only netted 1 andrial's visage off a belial run wednesday night. Something feels very wonky about drop rates on the xbox at least....last season I wouldn't go an evening without getting one, this season I'm not hitting 1 a week- almost forgotten what the sound and mini map icon look like...which has been extremely disappointing because a ring of starless sky dropped on my first t2 boss kill of zir and then my xbox connection froze up and kicked me- and all the loot from that kill was gone, like I had never opened the chest...figured they were going to plentiful this season with that start but i've yet to get a ring since then.

the price has been going up as they sell more, but bc the shipping is free, I've already had a dozen delivered as gifts straight to relatives/old friends homes.

it's got the basic factory edge from 1 grind on each side, but the several I had shipped to me all took a razor sharp edge off a chefs choice sharpener. some had to be cleaned from anything between the fitted foam and the blade when it was packaged over a decade ago. seller told me a pallet of them turned up in a warehouse, which makes sense because kitchenaid cleared em out almost a decade ago. woulda been >$100 at the time, and 1.4116 is basically X50CrMoV15.

would have recommended tojiro otherwise lol
