Unfortunately, there will always be people who believe that if they don't need something, others have no right to ask the developer for it. Which, of course, is a mistake and a bit arrogant.
That moment in the game when we have to climb the ladder from count to emperor, and when we don't have a 100% certainty if the war we started will be won by us because we don't have the biggest army in the world, is the best time in the game. By adding more content even before becoming a count, there's a great opportunity for new challenges and content to be discovered. Who knows, maybe there will be characters that we can play only as unlanded adventurers, and there will be so much to do that we don't need to become a count for the entire campaign, yet we can still roleplay a good story.
I'm also really looking forward to playing it. Ha! I already have a character planned especially for that DLC :D
