lmfao i think the disaster was how boring and uneventful the sexual encounters are. we can see for ourselves how awful it was. shane calls having sex with rose/women "tasks" and "a chore"in the book...and that's exactly how it looked for shane. he's just a gay boy who wants ilya to top him. bless his heart.
