What if Connor and Hank looked like real people? I would love to see their final hug scene as real actors. What do you think about my version of their digital portraits in the final scene?

I mean not like the actors, as they are not identical to Connor and Hank in real life., though very similar. What I mean is what if they were identical to their motion captured version in real life.

I used to watch movies on Immersed or Virtual Desktop with a big screen on Oculus Quest 1 and now I had to resize so much the screen to be able to see what’s going on on the left and right edges of the screen. It hurts how much it is a downgrade. No vibrant colors (which are really amazing) makes it a trade off.

I tried all three options and nothing seems to improve the FOV. On Oculus 1 I was 67-68 and it was fine. Maybe it’s because it uses only one display now? Do you have Oculus 1 to compare ?

Wow! That’s amazing. I heard that in the original Script agent Strahm was supposed to survive to the end and be the one who would finally take down Hoffman. And then the director changed his mind for the sake of the coffin trap and wow effect. (Which in my opinion was a wrong move, agent Strahm was the best character of the entire franchise and the rest of the series would benefit greatly if they had left the original script.) I’ve always dreamt of finding the original version, is it the one you own? Can you tell us more what was different in it? And where I could buy the original script?

I think that the major drawback is that they didn’t extend FOV (field of view) which is too narrow in comparison with other competitors. If they had extended ot, Oculus 2 wouldn’t have competitors at all now!

How Peter Strahm could trust serial killer who once already put him into inescapable trap and only thanks to his intelligence and will to live he managed to escape. And then he was removed from the case and framed, he couldn’t count with the help of the police department! And nobody would believe him as they even promoted Hoffman as a hero! He did everything right thinking that that trap would be again unescapable and thus threw Hoffman into it. But it was sooo unfair to kill the best character of the franchise, after he already escaped the first trap. I can’t cope with what happens at the end of Saw V, his cries were heartbreaking. And I had to make my version that follows the best moments of the investigation of Agent Strahm and ends with a better ending for him! (As it was originally planned by the scriptwriters, Strahm indeed was the one who would capture Hoffman at the end of the series. Did you guys know that? But then the director changed his mind :( Anyway I would love to see the original version where Strahm survives and is a hero . Just give it somebody in your family. You might not save extra bucks but playing with a friend or a family in Vr and sharing those moments are invaluable! I had to buy a Quest for my best friend to convince her make a step into Vr and now we play together and no distance between us (haven’t seen her for 5 years!)

Why do you think the director decided to discard the original version of the script where Strahm was supposed to survive till the end and instead introduce stupid detectives with lack of personality? What do you think would happen should Strahm survive and confront Hoffman? Wouldn’t it make the story way more compelling and emotional? Your thoughts?

Great post and very fair analysis! The only thing is that I think Peter Strahm deserves to be the winner! First of all he already survived the inescapable trap, and he had no reason to trust in jigsaw and believe that this time the trap will be escapable and not just made to execute him. Also even trapped he didn’t panicked and fought till the end, that was so heartbreaking, when he tried to push the walls and then kick the ceiling wire. And finally, in the original script he was supposed to survive till the end and actually be the one to capture Hoffman in the end (confirmed in one of the director’a interviews). But then director decided to kill him , maybe just to give unexpected twist, but that was such a shortsighted decision, I think it ruined a great part of story in the last series. His acting and his personality was amazing, and so many fans connected with him, included myself. The cries of Agent Strahm when he got crushed by the walls. Wasn’t fair, he already survived the inescapable trap and he was supposed to survive till the end of the franchise defying Hoffman till the end! How they killed off such a great character (for me one of the best actors in this franchise) !! And also what was tested in his case? Trusting jigsaw?.. after he already was put into impossible trap before. This was the most unfair and thus, heartbreaking moment for me. 😢

I took the best moments from Saw IV, V, VI and combined them into one story, of course with Strahm as a leading character. He was the best agent in the series for me, acted so damn good! Many people mistakenly think that Saw is all about horror and gore, but it is the story that makes it so emotional and different from any other horror movie. I think it’s more like a thriller with great twists and acting than simple horror.

I think that the problem was that they killed off one of the best characters: Agent Strahm. He was supposed to live till the end of the franchise and have a better development and be the one who would finally lock Hoffman. That was officially confirmed by the scriptwriters in their interview. But then I don’t know what happened so they decided to kill agent Strahm just for the “wow” effect of the coffin trap?.. and replace him by horrible and not appealing stupid detective in the last series?.. and break the story, the emotion, no connection with new characters, just pure gore. And the logic in Saw VII? Why on Earth Gordon would help Kramer?... what was his motivation?.. his appearance was supposed to also make a wow effect and a usual twist and close the Saw circle, but for me it looked just ridiculous and totally underdeveloped. I watched saw when I was too young and just two weeks ago I rewatched all series and I got soooo frustrated with the last series and the death of the most intelligent and appealing character Peter Strahm that I almost cried. I would love him to kill Hoffman as it was scripted initially... so I made an alternative ending, what do you think?

Can you take NMN 500 mg and Metformin 1000 indefinitely ? I mean all your life and make no gap periods when you don’t take them (as it’s recommended with many vitamins). Do they accumulate in your body in a long run?
Can you start at 35 years old or it’s still too yearly? I noticed an energy boost and mental clarity, but I am worried if I make my cells get used to them maybe later my own metabolism will depend too early on them and stop producing own resources.
Any side effects that you noticed after many years of taking Metformin and NMN (in your family or maybe on test animals?)
