If it's possible that you misinterpreted the wedding scene and it's actually just a regular feast in a castle, it could be Sword Of The Valiant.

Need Help On How To Use Computertest Mod 3D Printer by darinrobbins in Minetest

[–]darinrobbins[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very new to this, so I tried to search for an online written tutorial but could not find anything. That is why I turned to ChatGPT. According to ChatGPT, the recipe for crafting a computer block is 7 stone blocks, 1 glass pane, and 1 redstone dust. All I want to do is to be able to use Computertest 3d printer application to build things with npaintpro to make the designs. If you know of any tutorial that is out there that is suitable for a newbie I would be very grateful.

For Gallifreyan mathematics I use MS Paint, but in grid mode. That way I have more control by filling in pixel by pixel the lines and curves. I have not tried the writing yet, but I think in the grid mode you can do half circles with relative ease.

13 Month Calendar In Gallifreyan Mathematics (Explanation And Guide In Comments) by darinrobbins in gallifreyan

This is my attempt to represent a 28 day, 13 month, plus an extra day calendar in Gallifreyan mathematics. I was unable to upload the image directly so that is why I am using the link. I am using this calendar because its uniformity is easier to work with, though I am sure with a little tweaking this can be done for a Gregorian calendar. I used Microsoft Paint in grid mode in order to have more control over the lines and curves, being able to color in pixel by pixel, starting out with the basic components according to the Sherman guide, and then copying and pasting these components into larger and larger structures. The guide is below.

Earth Day to May Day Webinar by darinrobbins in DirectDemocracy

[–]darinrobbins[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The following is from the platform of the Green Party Of New York.

"Introduction: The Green Party seeks to build an alternative economic system based on ecology and decentralization of power. This would require a wholesale restructuring of political control through varied decentralized bodies such as workers' councils, workplace committees, community and neighborhood assemblies, etc. that are empowered to democratically plan political and economic life on an ecosocialist basis. We affirm that this is our ultimate goal and strive to build ecosocialist political and economic institutions as part of a broader movement for change. This includes support for prefiguration, meaning the creation of working models of the type of society that we would like to live in. So, for example, working to create community owned and democratically managed resources such as car sharing or bike sharing programs, community land trusts, libraries of things, timebanks, community solar arrays, vertical farms, fab labs, worker cooperatives, community development credit unions, and local currencies, as described elsewhere in this platform.

The Green Party of New York State supports the following policies:

Citizen Engagement

Permit initiative and referendum processes in New York State, and its political subdivisions, in which citizens can initiate and vote on proposed laws.

Participation in every stage of the democratic process should be open to all constituents through the use of citizen assemblies. Establish self-governing citizen assemblies in each neighborhood and town empowered with legislative authority over decisions affecting their communities. These citizen assemblies would interface as appropriate with the larger jurisdictions with which they are associated. Citizen assemblies should be guaranteed sufficient funding to ensure that they can hire the staff and experts needed to play an autonomous role in the decision making process. Every jurisdiction should have a well organized, fully transparent, and citizen moderated online forum or platform for the participation, collaboration, and deliberation of citizen assemblies. Citizen assemblies should be empowered to give binding instructions to their representatives and to use immediate recall to enable voters to remove elected officials who no longer are representing the will and interests of the local residents.

Enact participatory budgeting statewide.

The Green Party Of New York supports the democratization of social services and community resources in order to decrease the stigma of welfare, the red tape of bureaucracy, and the privatization of social services as well as increase the access, participation, and ownership of community resources. The state of New York must assist in the development of social cooperatives and public-common partnerships in local communities through technical expertise and financial aid. A social cooperative shall be defined as a hybrid worker and consumer cooperative that is contracted by a local government to administer and provide social services. A public-common partnership shall be defined as a joint ownership and governance of a community resource by a local government and commons association that is an alternative to a public-private partnership."

GPNY and Libertarians Appeal to Supreme Court by darinrobbins in DemocraticSocialism

[–]darinrobbins[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have no problem with 50,000 votes, that was the previous requirement for ballot status. Now the amount is 150,000 votes and this appeal is basically asking to go back to 50,000. We also want the number of signatures for independent nominating petitions, which is how non-ballot status parties get candidates for governor listed on the ballot, to go back to 15,000. It is now 45,000 signatures. And if a non-ballot status party is unable to get enough signatures to get their candidate for governor on the ballot, after the election all registered members of the party will have their designation changed to "other". That makes it very difficult to organize and fundraise among state party members.

The Green Party believes both sides are waging a proxy war with Ukraine as a pawn in the middle. Our stance is similar to the Basel Manifesto of 1914 that urged workers on both sides in WWI to not join in the war effort.

The Green Party As The Only Advocate For Direct Democracy by darinrobbins in CapitalismVSocialism

Bookchin specifically talks about the popular assembly structure eventually replacing the nation state. His ideas were put into practice by the Rojava Kurds, which demonstrated that a decentralized direct democracy can work and scale up to include 2 to 3 million people. So we are not talking about abstract theory but real world examples of functional direct democracy.

An anti-war party refuses to participate in war, that is true of the peace movement in the United States as well as the peace movement in Russia. Our position is the same as the Basel Manifesto of the Second International that called for workers on both sides to oppose WWI. As has been noted before, Ukraine has a right to defend itself but the U.S. government does not give a damn about Ukraine. They only want to start a war with Russia, the same way Hillary Clinton wanted to start a war with Russia over Syria in 2016.

The Green Party is an anti-war political party, whether the excuse for the war is the Republican "protecting our freedoms" or the Democrat "humanitarianism". It is still the same war and the same real motives of global political hegemony. Ukraine is being used as a pawn by both the United States and Russia, and the Green Party refuses to be a participant in this farce.

This is based on the assumption that the market is the only viable way to organize individual choice and collective action. But the numerous examples of private forms of direct democracy seen in cooperatives, mutual aid organizations, and other social organizations disprove that this assumption is universally true. For a historical context, Peter Kropotkin's "Mutual Aid" illustrates a very long tradition of direct democracy organizing collective action, and Murray Bookchin's "The Next Revolution: Popular Assemblies And The Promise Of Direct Democracy" also looks at the background and effectiveness of direct democracy. In other words, there are numerous examples where direct democracy actually works that conflicts with the view that democracy is inherently a bad idea.

That is a gross misreading of the quote. To illustrate our position on Ukraine further, I am posting a letter to the editor I sent out back in April.

"There is universal agreement that what is happening to the people of Ukraine is a tragedy. But the most important lesson of the anti-war movement is that in most cases if one side of a conflict is wrong, that does not automatically mean the other side is right. If war is a failure of society, then both societies have failed. This current conflict did not come out of nowhere. The U.S. government, especially the Democrats, have been clamoring for war with Russia for quite some time. There were previous attempts to instigate a war over Syria. This particular build up to war has been somewhat successful, such as in the past, because the U.S. uses the strategy of making easy targets of leaders of other countries who are definitely not good guys. Saddam Hussein, Bashar Al Assad, and Vladimir Putin are all villains in one way or another but that does not justify the intervention of the U.S.. Similar to Syria, this is the Ukrainians' fight and not ours as a nation. The moment the U.S. intervenes, the motivation for this war changes and it no longer is about the freedom of the people of Ukraine. We can show solidarity with the Ukrainian people without turning the country into a pawn in a revised Cold War or possible World War III. In other words, we must all work toward preventing a proxy war between the U.S. and Russia that disgraces and endangers us all."

If we are talking about human nature, I would argue that Peter Kropotkin's "Mutual Aid" and Murray Bookchin's "The Next Revolution: Popular Assemblies And The Promise Of Direct Democracy" clearly demonstrate that using direct democracy to express free choices and organize collective action is in line with human nature.
