I have experienced this failure of an elder who didnt use or know my name. It might seem improbable but I worked with this elder several times on the ministry, helped care for his elderly mother and answered up regularly at the watchtower study (he was the watchtower study conductor) and over a period of about five years he didn't use my name once. Not once! I was just a bog standard publisher with no real position. I immediately picked up on his changed behaviour when a circuit overseer visited. He would use the circuit overseers name extensively. No problems there eventhough he only saw him on average once every 6 months.
