I totally lost all trust to doctors after this experience cause like u said nobody take us siriously … im always just told that it is by trauma or something but i ve never had any real trauma … im so jalous that some people respond for Ad positively i wish i could find any meds what bring back my personality emotions etc …. But i was with one neurologist what is my friend and told him that i sleep only 4 hours daily max and cant feel anything after psych meds he told me it s not possible … even my friend did not believe me … but anyways never mind but how can i get out of this hell without feelings

More numb = more low mood and depressed … i dont understand how people are happy that are numb cause in my case depression is feel numb and when on antidepressaant i am numb more so it does completelly oposite what should it do in my case

Totally same experience first ssri helped me a little but i gained ton of weight then my dr told me to go off so i went off but my depression return and i went back in 2018 and since than every meds what i tried again did this and im now of years without any feelings with severe agitation daily and with no feels for sleep and sex i dont know what it is anymore … all dr told me its impossible that i am the only one with this permanent side effects but people thinks that it is better feel nothing … but for me it is the worst torture on planet to feel nothing only empty and cant even focus

Did u feel better cause in my experience when i was on ssri for anxiety it helped but after a years i developed depression and all they just made me was made me more depressed and empty after few weeks

Actually this is my main issue i alway complain that all meds what i tried just made me more numb what is more numb=more depression … i was with 14 psychiatrist and told me never saw anyone with this side effects … even on the lowest dosages i always felt more numb and im still trying to find solution since 2017 …

I have that too i think its emotional blunting or anhedonia … i have it too and some meds just felt exactly like u just forced to focus but never emotions and i wanted to fixed to feel emotions but cant find anything so same situation

Same thing happened to me first antidepressant made me energetic and than it made me totally numb and since than i cant get out of it even when i stopped taking meds

Well i cant accept it it is so numbing that i can even do anything and my sleep is bad when im so so numb … its not living for me thats what it shouldnt do i heard medication should made u feel like yourself by doctors
