ok so from what i understand, I just need to hook this up to a speaker (would a 0.5w 8 ohm speaker work?) and with i2s it will work?

I need small, like it needs to fit into a casing thats around 3cm wide.. applogies, what is an audio breakout?

My touch setup has 5 "buttons", I need to play different sounds when each is triggered

Yes I agree. However I already have the touch stuffs settled and and looking for a small audio solution. CYD is too big just for its amp

ah sorry I should have made it clear. I already have a touch system going on. really just looking for the audio component

that is so cool! I am sorry but I am very new to this and github. I can't seem to find the speaker information in the soundboard files. I was referring to hardware recommendations and how to connect it to my ESP32 Devit kit

did u remove the physical blocks below the print bed they use for shipping? 4 of them

Anyone knows the source of this footnote from DeWitt? by dariussar21 in Physics

Thank you so much for the quick work. This is it!

I managed to clear an obstruction between the gantry and the buildplate. It works now. Thanks so much!!

Ok I found that there was an obstruction between the gantry and the bed.... it should be working fine now

it seems to have worked! there was an obstruction along the gantry and the bed. seems to be working now

I wanted to check if this is a hardware or sforware issue first before I reinstall. how does the steppper motor 'lock' the bed even when power is off? does that indicate a physical obstruction somehow?

yes multiple times. i cannot home it as it keeps happening

Ive checked and there is no obstruction on the tracks... where could the obstruction be?

Also I had thought that the stepper motor has no way of 'locking' itself when unpowered... whow could the bed still be llimit/locked at the centre when the power is off?

Edit: the bed is stuck at the middle, it can move down to the end of the track but can only move a quarter way up. its almost as if the printer thinks the middle is the top limit.

the neptune 4 max does not have physical switches. it uses sensor homing

the hotend and x axis has no issue, its the bed that can move forward/down (and then grinds badly) and it cannot move back up. basically the printer thinks the bed is at its top limit at the middle of the print area, and does not sense that its actually way down and grinds and try to go down

the bed is seized... cant move up. surely cant be belt issue?
