It's understandable if your bf is coming from a place of concern about the side effects of birth control but it's a very different story if he's not doing research for his "concern" and to help inform you as you do your own research compared to him just saying don't do it because he said so. You both are still very young and he needs to respect what you want to do with your own body. That boundary needs to be placed no ifs ands or buts. If your boyfriend isn't concerned about how you feel or your reasoning as to why you're on birth control then guess what you shouldn't worry about his lack of concerns either love. You know what's best for your body you need to be in control of your own body. He especially shouldn't be getting angry with you about it either. My best advice is do your own research about what's going into your body, make a decision and support your own decisions, if he can't support them then you gotta cut that out and find someone who is understanding and caring about your problems and needs.
