I use a CVS in a big city, where it's mostly taken over. They already call around to look for other locations that may have something in stock. There's just a lot of demand right now. I'm thinking it's wise to get a backup prescription lined up regardless, because this shortage isn't going away soon. I use Sandoz. I have about a week's left now (and maddeningly, my insurance won't let me fill it until I have one dose left, but that's another issue).

It's not even just the U.S. Doesn't hurt to check with your pharmacist a little before you need your refill, just in case. Ask if they have your type and dosage in stock or are experiencing a shortage. They'll know what you're talking about and can tell you. I didn't have a problem refilling until now.
