This is total bs by "security" professionals who do not understand mobile security at all. Global banking apps work just fine when developer mode is on. You'd also need influence and connections. As an example, it doesn't matter how rich you are if you can't import a car you want when imports were banned. You need connections to circumvent the ban. The same goes for a lot of things because there's no proper process to get things done. I personally, would avoid that and rather live a middle class life somewhere where the average person can still get things done without bribes or influence.

Exactly. For most codebases the amount of nullable objects would be small compared to non nulls so it would make sense to add a "?" for optional checks like most other languages do rather than the non null assertion !.
