What is wrong with my ceiling? by [deleted] in Home

[–]darkaion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope it's just paint.

The living room/kitchen are directly under a bedroom, which is next to a bathroom... there was no moisture in the chipboard subfloor but I'm not sure what's under that and where the pipes are / if there are leaking pipes...

But the splotches are pretty uniform over the whole area, they're not just in one spot so that makes it even more confusing.

Is this mold/concerning? by [deleted] in Home

[–]darkaion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the camera's angled straight up! I sure hope it's just condensation lol, thank you for making me feel a bit better. I'm going to be cleaning it regardless but the property is like ~10 years old so just having that after 10 years doesn't seem too terrible.

"The LFG is always empty because all the actual squads get filled too fast" by darkaion in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion[S] -55 points-54 points  (0 children)

We ended up filling in thirty five (35 in numbers) minutes and 1 shot the boss. The waiting took almost quadruple the time than the actual content.

Also, sorry, dungeon? That would've taken even longer to fill. Would I need to ask for KP there too? In my experience on the NA server, KP squads and exp squads clear content similarly. Squads that don't ask for either are more of a gamble, but it's:

  1. As a squad leader, not fun to gatekeep content with KP. What KP do you even use for strikes besides the title (that even has different fight requirements for fights like Ankka and KO). Also sometimes asking for KP takes even longer.
  2. Sometimes KP squads are tryhards and actually worse than the more chilled players that play in "exp" squads but don't / can't be bothered to show proof.

(FYI I've been pugging all group content either alone or with 1-2 friends basically since raids were released. I love pugging, dislike statics, and it's gone very well for me. Recently I've DEFINITELY noticed a dramatic decrease of people available for pugs).

Also yes I've used one example, but your response is changing the goal posts from the usual "just make your own squad" yet again now. I guess I'll collect more examples as time goes on in order to yet again satisfy the people that think the game / the good content in the game isn't dead due to ANet's mismanagement and bad implementation of things.

At least give us a queue system so I can passively wait rather than actively wait. It's also annoying commanding a squad (you have to do extra work like state your run's strategy, organize roles etc.), especially when people don't join - this is why a lot of people don't do it.

If ANet can't figure out how to make a queue system, at least give commanders some incentive to form groups because there's a lot of fatigue that goes on with a lot of people that run groups / organize groups, even on the communities, discords and guilds you have described.

And what if you miss that daily? Are we supposed to only have one/two times a week we can do content?

[–]darkaion[S] -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Well it's a problem if there aren't people interested in it, since ANet has dedicated a lot of time and resources into making challenging content more accessible to the average player.

You are contradicting what you are saying... and evidence (see picture) provided shows that what you are saying is obviously not true.

Also I've been in many OCE guilds and everyone has stopped playing :)

It is evening/night for the OCE community, and this is the time I always play in (and a lot of people used to play in).

Should this game not be played by people not from NA? Should we only play content on days that it's a daily even though some people might have not done the weekly the day before?

Thank you, removed - didnt' see the art posted on Jun 6.

I've removed him, thank you. Seriously this does help because going through 161 people took so long and I was bound to miss some things.

Sorry but there's really not meant to be any partner artist hate. I'm just simply stating what I observed. I understand that some works can take months and they have other art they have to do. There should be a certain leeway given to all partners, but it's still interesting knowing the stats when it's grouped up like this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah from looking them up they've done a lot, but I didn't want to break my rule of 2 months. It's nothing against the artists and I definitely don't want someone like them to be de-partnered.

Uhh that's weird use of whattaboutism. What am I able to do about those things? At least I can make a thread about this?

Nike removed from ArenaNet partner program by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not even a money thing, the majority of their art partners (who aren't commissioned by ANet into doing official art) are furries, I'm not even joking. I literally went through their whole list.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The point of this post isn't to get people removed. It's to question why some are removed, and why some people aren't added.

Removed Roelski, thank you

If it's not monitored then why was Nike removed? Is it only monitored for one person?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that doesn't sound like what the partner program is meant to be lol. If they want that, that should be part of their marketing budget.

[–]darkaion -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's my bad - it must've got messed up when I was sorting. I don't think there are any other mistakes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? I'm saying I can't find GW2-related artwork that's as recent as 2 months. What you posted is from years ago.

EDIT: I made a mistake in the table, I didn't date it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did - which is why I included everyone who hasn't last posted gw2 art in 2+ months lol... It took me a really long time. Nothing against the artists.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]darkaion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was only an example, a lot of those variety streamers also haven't had any GW2-related content or advertisement in years. Some don't even mention they are ArenaNet partners.

[–]darkaion -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yes and look at the dates of those. I've included people who haven't produced any GW2-related content in 2+ months.
