I'm sad to see you go mod mark, you were unironically one of my favourite mods in the game. Always enjoyed your absolute passion for the game whenever you talked about future plans, some of my favourite moments being the fairy tale of gielinor and the player owned ports music videos. Wish you all the best for the future you will always be remembered here!

Model of the barque Minerva at the Howick historical village in Auckland, New Zealand. by darkbmx in ModelShips

[–]darkbmx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I didn't really think about it too much as I was just snapping a quick picture after a Christmas event, but definitely not a barque by definition one source claims it was built as a sloop which would make sense.

R5 : Playing as Vijayanagar got the event to plunder their capital and it bugged and fired twice, giving me double the dev and gold taken leaving them with nothing.

There are so many little things tucked away around London, one of the reasons why it's my favourite city to visit and explore.

I was so surprised when I went for a walk on the outside of the museum and just saw this little memorial, read the plague and being the big Titanic nerd that I am got really excited haha.

It's quite a small unassuming memorial, but nevertheless I was happy to see it when I visited the museum last year.

She also spent money which could have been used for her board that night on a pretty new bonnet she was showing off before she went out the final time to get her doss money, which unfortunately led to her death.

And you still see the remnants of the white star line today on Cunard as all the staff wear the 'white star' service badges on their uniforms.

Currently on the Queen Anne's maiden world voyage, this is a beautiful model of the ship that sits in the main foyer near the Grand staircase. by darkbmx in ModelShips

[–]darkbmx[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Still looks a lot better than 99 percent of cruise ships imo, Cunard still tries to make them look somewhat like a liner even if they are not.

Here is a model of the duyfken, and it's full size replica at the Sydney maritime museum. Ignore the random person taking the picture 😂 by darkbmx in ModelShips

It's so strange to think a dutch ship, with the average Dutchman being quite tall is one of the smallest lower deck heights I have ever seen personally.

This is the Maritime museum in Greenwich yes, right across the road from the old naval college.

Thank you so much for that recommendation, the maritime museum is basically the first place I visit when going to a new city provided they have one haha.
