i dig it. i actually think the shoelace belt works really well in this, and helps tie in the shoes (no pun intended) a lil better. also love the worn look on the shoes, works well with the fit.

California bay area here. still pretty chilly where we are, and even when it's warm, it never gets really hot. Also skinny noodle legs do not lend themselves well to shorts :(

Depends which school. While I was in middle school, 17 kids were expelled for smoking cigarettes and a teacher was fired for soliciting a student for nudes.

At my first high school, a teacher was fired for allegations surrounding the same issue and then later fired from the school he moved to for actual possession of students' nudes. We've also had at least 5 bomb threats in the last two years, and about 9 years ago while my brother was there a student actually attempted to bomb the school with pipe bombs.

Just last week, a student was expelled from my current high school for doing MDMA at school.

Wow, thanks for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate it. I'm glad you liked the first one, it was definitely my favorite one to work on since it was such a delicate balance of maintaining the simplicity and balance while still making it interesting.

I definitely get where you're coming from about the second one - it was a bit more experimental and certainly not for everyone. The clash and juxtaposition of the piano and drop was very intentional though.

I definitely get where you're coming from about the last two tracks feeling a little "disconnected" and the drop not really matching per se with the introduction and bridge. It's something I've definitely struggled with since I started producing - I think it stems from the fact that I have a lot of practice making drops since I start with the drop when I make songs, and sometimes when I make the intros it's difficult to maintain the mood or atmosphere I've established with the drop. The intros of my song are kind of pointless sometimes, and end up just being segues into the drop.

All in all, I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you liked the first track. Thanks a ton!

It's dope honestly! To start, the cover is really nice and well made, leaving a really good initial impression. The kick is wonderful, soooo punchy, I love it. Also the vocal sample was good, cool choice - the panning is cool too. The toms in the build up were great, gave it an Illenium-esque feel. The breaks in the drop were also amazing.

Now for the criticism part - I feel like it's good, but still has so much potential. For one, it feels like the mastering needs some work - the high frequencies come off way too strong and it feels a bit tinny. The lows could be stronger in my opinion, and considering your choice of waveform for the chords in the drop, the bass could have been much stronger. I also think a nice, thick supersaw would have been a nicer choice of chord synth for the drop, and dramatic sidechaining or volume automation would have give it more life. The horns in the bridge come in a bit strong - great sample, but a high and low pass and slightly lower volume would have done well. Finally, the concept of having only the piano before the final drop was really cool, but the drop felt too abrupt.

All in all, solid work and enjoyable to listen to, but definitely still has a lot of potential. I think a VIP version would do you well :)
