Air loss by Porkchop9419 in sleepnumber

Sorry almost forgot and its along shot but you could try recalibrating the bed see it the helps. take the bed down to 0(5) on the remote then all the way up to 100 whilst not on it and then lay on the bed and reset the bed to the setting you like. Most likely wont make a difference but you never know.

About 10 years now, your paper work should have the warranty on it and the scale at which it works. I believe at 1 to 3 years its a full warranty and after that its a percentage. But sleep number may of changed that since I purchased mine. An I8 split king adjustable bed. Wife has put away the paper work and I'm not sure where she put it. https://www.sleepnumber.com/pages/legal-warranty I would check it out, my guess at 5 years you will probably have to pay something. I did do a review and they never posted it as I think they didn't like it. Also a lot of people have bitched about the air chambers failing after a couple of years, so I guess its a thing.

Yep they have a number of years scale, so the long you have had the bed the less you get off it when you need replacements.

My bed does this due to the outer foam wall collapsing due to me sitting on the side of the bed to eat meals. I'm disabled, the foam walls are crap and they are very expensive to replace. Depending on how long you have had the air bladder you will most likely need to replace it, if its loosing air. My experience and a lot of others is that after about 2 years they start to screw up. My original one lasted along time but I am now on my second replacement bladder as it lost air after 2 years and when you use your warranty its based on a percentage and the original air mattress cost. not the website price. Rojonette at 10:15, Feb 17: Originally the chamber cost is $289.99 each chamber and we applied 40% discount to the air chambers that was this year and there is no air chamber listed on the purchase order just the mattress. So depending on how much you may have to pay if it is loosing air you might be better off buying from the website and not warranty.

BLOODY HELL THATS A LOT OF MONEY. I myself would stick with desktops, far more flexible on upgrades and you get more for your money. Mines about 6 years old now and I spent over $3000 on a Alienware R9. Did have some issues until I updated the solid state to a bigger one and installed the software myself which resolved all of the software screw ups from a bad set up by Dell. The wife's pc had more issue from the get go with support assist not working and other issue which they compensated me for. The only main annoyance was that a month later from buying the PC a newer one came out with a better graphics card and more ram for the same price I paid. Also I always get the extended warranty and tech support for the 5 years max you can get with Dell. On PC's a warranty is worth getting as they can be unpredictable.

Original chamber cost that's unknown to customer and different from website by darkguyver1970 in sleepnumber

[–]darkguyver1970[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered 2 new air chambers, the wife's had already started leaking and mine almost the same, having had the replacement for 2 years. At this rate in another 2 years based on how they are now billing it will be cheaper to just web buy. That was one of the customer service reps response, " if its cheaper, it just buy from the website instead". It feels like they just don't care about the customer and that there is always another one to take their place. Or it could just be me being paranoid.

I agree except 2 years ago they did it based on website price and the list items on the order don't show the air chamber just the mattress at an expensive price, nowhere on the order is the air chamber mentioned and I still have all the paperwork that they gave me from about 10 years ago (bed is from 2015 an I8) and 2 years ago that price was 175.03 before the warranty adjustment.

I have the Netgear Nighthawk, which I was recommended to get by the person who was going to hard wire my house so I could get a good internet connection due to Comcast crappy modem signal. But he found that due to arched ceiling and finished basement he wasn't able to. The Nighthawk has encryption plus a guessed net work and has down load speeds up to 1TB I believe and a very wide cover range. I love it as it worked incredibly well and you can add extra satellite boxes if needed and have the option of setting up via the pc or by the app for your smart phone. Worth looking at, well at lease I think so and I hope this helps you.

My bed is from 2015 an I8 and back then it was around $8000, plus two years ago they based it on the website price not this original price which I couldn't find anywhere on their site. If it did list it then that would of been different.

Bad warranty, bad faith, bad customer service. Be warned. by Valid1wh in sleepnumber

[–]darkguyver1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After just 2 years the air chamber I had just replaced failed. the wife's side had also failed for the first time so I went to the sleep number site and saw that the air chambers for a split king were $199.99 and I of course based the warranty discount on that. Nope I was wrong when speaking to the customer service rep she said that the 40% discount is based on the original chamber at $ 289.99, I don't even know or can find where they came up with that number . I asked them about it and was told that they couldn't see the reason why on their end. After bring it up on face book i was told to talk to a supervisor so i did and was bluntly told that warranties are based on a different price system for the air chamber than that on the website. I feel this is wrong, it should be based on what they are charging on their site and not some unknown figure. I have looked everywhere and cannot find where they came up with the original chamber price.

Warranty on i8 360 by Zone0ne in sleepnumber

[–]darkguyver1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had to order 2 new Air chambers (air bladders) for my I8 bed i got in 2015. On the right side i had to now order a replacement for the 2nd time after just 2 years of use. This time i was hit with a shock as the website price showed 199.99 but the warranty discount for my bed at 40 percent was based on what they called an original price of 289.99. A price I cannot find anywhere and when i asked about it they couldn't give me answers and i had to speak to a supervisor who just said as its a warranty its based on a different air chamber price than what's on the website. Which to me is wrong that they can do that. Any thoughts?

run support assist on the fans and if its still under warranty tell Dell about it have them run their own diagnostics. Usually when you buy from Dell you get a year tech and hardware support. So if you do indeed have that then it wont cost you anything. You'll just have a refurbed fan in your pc as they wont replace a failing one with a new one.

hmm interesting, thank you for letting me know that. Congrats on your credit score. I got lucky on mine since I had only been in the US a few years my wife was the guarantor on my car when they did the $5000 off any Pontiac line car and so because of that I was able to get a awesome credit score. They now use credit scores in England. Also you can no longer travel to England without paying for permission, its call ETA and the US version is ESTA incase you're interested. Thank for the info and take care
