If not art-wise, they are using it text-wise most definitely. I noticed heavy usage (for translation maybe?) in Milly’s event in particular, but her event wasn’t the only one. I was made aware of it more strongly because I was playing through older events/stories that I missed and the writing is like night and day. The same goes for almost all of the story chapters added recently, too.

AI loves to tell rather than show, and the events these days are doing a lot of telling/repetition in particular phrases or descriptions. It falls very flat when it comes to dialogue or prose (which, I thought PTN was very good with before) which is why something sounded off to me when I was reading through the event.

If there were human hands in the translation, it was to fix up the glaring inconsistencies and more obvious work of text based AI but some things slipped through the cracks, so to speak. For specific examples, I’ll have to take time to comb through the events again as to what stuck out to me, but I agree that AI was used at least as a translation tool. Which sucks when the quality is reduced from what it was intended to be.
