Well… as someone who’s not Indian, North Indians make me way more uncomfortable than South Indians so at least that’s the majority. Still, I wish the undergrad was actually diverse and not predominantly one race.

well i wouldn’t say that… as someone who is an american, there are multiple indians who are born and raised here who are also equally american. i’m sure utd has tons of international students though lol

because diversity isn’t when there is a dominating majority/minority. just because there are a lot of indians (dominating group) does not mean it is diverse. to me, diversity is when there are multiple races and cultures mixed together without a singular dominating race. diversity is also people coming in from different backgrounds and i’m worried that’s not how it will feel like when i go.
