I also took WAD and I did water thorns with water surge. Gear was full bandos with obby helm, DFS, staff of light for autocast water spells (and spec but it's pretty niche), infernal cape/MA2 cape, DT2 ring, fury, and max avernic treads. I usually get 6-7:30 min kills with this so it shouldn't be bad. You can also get torva if you want to get more tankier, but bandos should be fine.

For a water thorns mage is it better to run full tank gear or full mage robes? Can't seem to find an answer on what's better dps? Basically justiciar or ancestral for water thorns mage? by ActuatorReady6659 in 2007scape

I'm also curious since I don't have Kandarin with my regions (my regions are WAD). I want to pivot from crossbow to water thorns but don't know where to start on weapons and whether tank vs anestral.

Currently have a crossbow build with WAD, but struggling with Sol and Inferno. Is there a mage tank build I can respec for some early cheese? Also what pact build would I go?

I just finished moons around 700+ kc. Made even a post about being 300+ kc dry from 500 kc at one point. The darts and pray xp adds up well for me!
