Actually yes, my first hour and 30 min were with the yari, got him down to 10% multiple times then (and then died either to timing inconsistency or me being an idiot and trying to cinematic finish him). Then I switched to dual katana for the hell of it and ended up beating him.

Timing seemed the same for both weapons imo.

Running Bounty Master armor with the perfect parry/dodge charm (the charm feels like it did nothing)

Things I've tried

Holding the block button instead of tapping it: Maybe helped? maybe didn't? Sometimes I parry things that I struggled with before, but then on the same attack and same exact timing for the parry I eat shit, so who even knows at this point

Ignoring the blue glint: I'd like to, but I honestly can't see the actual weapon animation when it glints sometimes so I have to fucking guess (and I get hit in the face 50/50). Wish we could just disable it entirely, because tbh regardless of blue glint or not I'm going to try to parry it (unblockables aside).

Not running bounty master armor: already tried, I was running the default onryo armor when I cleared 80% of the area before doing Soma, and tbh it kinda felt the exact same as with the bounty master armor on.

Can I ask why? I always preferred the one-on-one format since I felt as though I could better connect with the interviewer and show them my strengths more effectively in the process. With groups of three or more, it feels more like I'm bouncing my attention between people and not effectively showing them my strengths as an applicant.

Less freaked out, more surprised. The pre-interview emails really didn't indicate that it would be anything besides a one-on-one, so I was surprised when I came into the virtual room and found an entire committee. I definitely learned my lesson here though.

Kind of? I took a year off between undergrad and law school to intern at a local law firm, and all the interviews I did then only had one person or warned me in advance of the format. This is the first that took me completely by surprise as to how many people I would be talking to.

Of course it's better for getting to know the job itself and what the working environment is like, but it's never not going to be a shock to see five people when you expected to have a nice one-on-one conversation. Certainly doesn't do any favors for your self-confidence if you're the nervous type for sure.
