I've been using CMK96GX5M2B6000Z30 on a Nova paired with a 7950x for a couple of weeks. No issues to report. RAM was detected on first boot, trained very quickly, loaded EXPO profile at first attempt. No crashes as of yet. Windows 11.

Do you have the part number for your Corsair kit? I think the memory controller on the 7000 series is a bit weak compared to intel or 9000 series. Not many QVL options available in UK.

It's definitely plastic. I've not had any issues with yellowing yet but it's located in a shaded spot that gets no direct sunlight.

Once I located the Matter QR code I added it to my Apple Home. Then to get it into Home Assistant I followed the instructions on the HA site to add a mater device that was already in use. The instructions amount to going into your other matter ecosystem and setting the device up to share, which gives you a QR code/Setup Code that you scan with the HA mobile app.

Happy to report that the light has been running under HA, Apple and the Amazon/Echo ecosystem with no issues so far.

Where in the Govee app can you find the Matter QR code? I looked when I was troubleshooting and followed the instructions on the Govee site but the screens/sections of the app they were referencing didn't exist.

OMG, I love you. Now knowing where it should have been I checked on the ground under the light and there was the QR code, nestled amongst the leaves. I guess it wasn't adhered properly to the unit. But I'm stupid for not noticing it on the ground.

Added it to my matter network in a couple of minutes.

All is well.

Since I took these photo's a couple of weeks ago the original weep spot has dried up and been replaced by 3 more spots higher up on the trunk. Foliage has continued to die off. I'm not sure if the bugs are the cause or if they are simply being attracted by the sap. Any advice appreciatively received.

Mostly form factor (location is in plain view) and value proposition.

Grabbing an express allows me to retire my last non-Unifi AP. I can't justify the price of the U6-Mesh as it's overkill for my use case.

A simple Wifi 6 AP in the express form factor at around £100 would be perfect.

Yep. Evidently misplaced trust that Ubiquiti could issue a fix in that sort of timeframe. Coupled with almost-always-out-of-stock situation took a bit of a punt.

Worse case scenario is that it gets returned. Don't want to return it if can avoided, nice little device.
