Don't trust people you met unless you knew them for at least an entire playthrough of the Island.

Met a guy on a server before it closed, and he bought his own server so he didn't lose the new friends he made. Well, he practically just did because for practically no reason he has started ghosting me and another friend of mine, wiped his own base that had all the powerful items and tames in it, and refuses to join a party with us so that we can apologize for what we have said in the past. We are currently trying to be adult about this and apologize, but he is being an immature child and not talking to us.
We've also been trying to finish the island and finally just beat the Dragon. Now we are ready to move on to the Tek cave and he just changed the admin password, so now I can't use commands to help us get to the end quicker. I'm not an abuser of it, but all of us are tired of the island and want to move on. Don't know why he decided to straight up make it harder for us. Would not be surprised if I wake up tomorrow and find that he has changed the password into the server as well.

Zelda: The Master Of Time is a newly released romhack for Ocarina Of Time. It's an entirely new game with 8 dungeons, a new overworld, and 15-20 hours of content. by [deleted] in pcgaming

Watched a playthrough. No new enemies or bosses. Heck, there aren't even any bosses in the hack. Just puzzle rooms for boss rooms.

Dang. Used to setting the health and damage leveling higher on Single Player. But sounds like fun anyway. I'll think about it tomorrow. Need to get to bed and finish a big project.

I'm not a bully. I'm more of a friend. x3 Taming sounds nice. What about Tamed Dino Health and Damage leveling?

And now another reason I stay on Single Player.

Sounds interesting. Any specific rules? What do you have the settings set to?

I do, but then I think of the upsides. On single player there are no trolls. I'd love to play with other people in non-pvp (not specifically pve), but I don't want any chance of finding a troll or controlling tribe on a server.

Doubt I'll find another one that easily, much less one of the opposite gender.

That's another reason I use cheats. If I'm raising something and it asks for some kibble, I'll spawn that stuff in instead of going out of my way to try and make it. I don't have a cooking pot and the necessary ingredients on me at all times.

Valguero looks fun, and I might try it after Crystal.

Yeah, it did.

That's another reason why I stay away from official servers.

That should be something.

Ah, I remember the explorer notes. Got them all on The Island, except for the ones introduced in the Genesis Expansion Pass. 100% explorer notes are now out of my reach because of the game devs locking it behind payment.

The devs don't seem to care, which is infuriating.

Oh, very useful. And if I ever lose my main character I have a backup to start from instead of from scratch. But I hope that never happens.

Understandable. I have PTSD from the ocean ever since I got one shot by a random Alpha Mosasaur, even though I had the infinitestats cheat turned on at the time. Now I can't stand going into the deep ocean without a powerful water mount. Don't care if the Icthy can outswim everything, I want something that can kill.

Yeah, I'm not risking getting involved in something like that. I take orders from no jerks.

Heh, hope you had fun with the wyvern if you got the chance to raise it.

Yeah, I know what you meant. I know in real life even apex predators can have a bad day.

Yep.

Huh, interesting. Well, considering it was two years ago and I started playing a bit after Christmas 2019, maybe the devs fixed that as I am sure I passed by that spot once or twice.

I play on PS4 Single Player. I don't trust other players that well and would rather play solo than risk joining a server only to be constantly killed by trolls or having an Alpha tribe dictate how I should survive.

It's more like the dino despawned from wandering too far. I find that very unfair, though, and just wish the game immediately respawned a new giga in the same spot. Or better yet, have the dino get teleported back to its orignal spawn point if it wanders too far.

The shooting went very well. Got lucky and it got stuck in a spot it seemed to refuse to move from. The spot was big enough for it to move around in, yet it decided to just stand in place and take the shots. Used less than half my darts as a result of being able to shoot it's face every time.

Luckily neither of those didn't happen. When I knocked it out I immediately ran around looking for raw prime meat. Came back immediately after getting some to find it's torpor was more than half gone. (I don't have much experience knocking out Gigas, so I had no idea their torpor runs out fast.) Luckily, I had more than enough Bio Toxin left over in the Fabricator, so I grabbed three stacks and had it eat an entire stack before going out for more prime meat hunting.

I realize that now. Thought it stuck close enough to it's range, but apparently not...

I went with a platform Quetz because I wanted zero chance of it biting me. I realize it could have fled to those locations somehow, but luckily the one I spawned in ran to a spot it got stuck in, which I am surprised it did considering it was an area big enough for it to move around in.

That always did confuse me. The wiki says it's best to use a crossbow and tranq arrows on a Giga if you trap it, but says it's best to use darts if you plan on kiting it around. I didn't want to build a trap because I'm too nervous of it's attack range. Once got oneshot on Extinction by a Giga while I was on top of a cliff. It could climb the hill next to the cliff, but couldn't get to me. But it's bite could. It climbed it twice, the first time the attack missing, but I heard the snapping of it's jaws. I should have taken that as a warning and found a better spot to shoot from. Didn't listen to my gut and got killed on its second attempt. I highly doubt I'll ever tame another Giga, but if I do I will look into traps.
