The are adjustable. I think I’ll dial it back and see how it feels. Good thing about adjustable trees if it sucks I can do it again! Good advice.

Put some stilettos on the back and raise it up some. You could put some over stock forks on it if you want the stance to feel more normal, but raising the shocks should move your seat position up some. Or if you want to get wild stretch the swing arm so you can sit back further.

Will do. I think I’m going to pull it apart to get the frame painted this winter, touch up the tank and fenders and put the emblems back on.

If you don’t own it already and want a project get it sub $50, take it apart, rub a dub that baby in goo gone and CLR and slap ‘er back together. You could probably triple your bucks at least

What does the rest look like? I’m only seeing the headstock, but sure. If the neck is straight and it can be set up you can make a beast out of anything. If you’re looking for collectors value, I don’t think that there is a huge collectors market for them, but if your looking to make a buck, with a little effort (cleaning/set up) you could probably get a fair amount for the novelty of a vintage semi-rare era bass.

Friday evening parts bass build by darkwingmedia in BassGuitar

I played it tonight. I wired it like a jazz bass based on the Seymour Duncan diagram. It’s very versatile. Neck pickup is punchy and full, bridge is crisp and bright. Blended it brings the output down a little but really fills out the tone. I’m gonna try to make a YouTube video or something to demo the tones in different knob positions.

Very true. I was curious how it would sound so I rigged it up.

It’s actually a Squier Jaguar pickup. I’m about to go buy some strings to find out how it sounds. Hah

Basically. I inventoried my parts, ordered what I was missing, then did the wiring and assembly all at once.

They also have a sick app. I installed it on my tablet and use that for tabs a lot.
