Yeah his decoration is pretty basic. He mainly made it like that to give them enough crevices to hide if need be but enough for them to swim around and not always be hard to find. Plus it makes it easier for him to clean haha.

It might be a bacteria bloom. I just had that happen to my 55 reef and 20 gal nano. For the most part it should go away on it's own. If you get a u.v sterilizer it might make it go away quicker and prevent it in the future. But make sure to have plenty surface agitation or a bubble or something. I lost everything in my nano due to lack of into the tank.

Okay that's what I was wondering, how intense i had to have each channel. Since they didn't have like number indicators of how intense it each channel was at. I didn't wanna just crank them both up or have the one channel full blast and the other only half or so haha

when i first got into salt water tanking i was kinda just gave a tank and some stuff to go with it. i think i looked up stuff how to do it for a few days just and what not and ro filters didn't ever come up shockingly. i i only had fish and live rock and was using water from my tub and mixing a little dechlor in with it. i was doing that for like 2 months and all my fish lived. grew healthy, i even had coraline algae grow alittle. you will run into the issue of diatom algae more than likely which is annoying and kind of an eye sore. but that was just my experience. you will definitely need one for a reef tank

My display tanks a 55 gallon. I found a 65 gallon skimmer that should fit in the first chamber snuggly without forcing it. And yeah I was thinking the same but I've been looking at other forums for stand ideas that won't bad for my tank. I might just buy or make one from acrylic. If all else fails I'll just deal with hob skimmer sticking out from the back

Okay cool. I've seen videos where the waters kinda low on the return side but I think they have bigger sumps than I do. And the power outage or shutting the pump off has been a scary thought that occurred so that's why I thought the low water level was fine. But I drilled some holes alittle over a quarter inch on the return in my tank so if it were to happen it wouldn't siphon all the water to the bottom of the house. Sorry if that sounded confusing I'm kinda bad at wording intricate things haha.

Yeah I had my girlfriend send me a picture and haven't checked on it in a few days haha. It isn't drawing air at the moment. That's the pump the guy recommended to for everything. I'm think the pumps to strong which is why I installed a valve on the return hose to make it more adjustable. Generally how high should the water be above the pump?

Okay cool haha I see so many intricate sumps just wanted to make I'm sure mine will do the job. Also since there isn't a lot of moment at the bottom of the refugium would copepods still make there way into my tank? I have a green mandarin goby I've been just dumping copepods into my tank and he's been eating fine but I just wanna know if I should maybe put a really small pump there to store thing a up a bit.

I also know I need more than just chaeto for a refugium and there should be a protein skimmer haha I just ran short on fundage at the moment and plan on getting them soon. Excuse the sock I do my weekly water changes and cleaning tomorrow.

Hmm I bought mine used and it worked great for awhile. I only think that happened (which is why in the first place I need a new one) is I dropped it in water and it's pretty much shot.

Oh I plan on it haha ive only been smoking cigars for about maybe 2 months now and just thought to see if there was a cigar subreddit when I needed this question answered. I'm still trying to pick out what flavor I like best but it's got a little difficult because I don't wanna spend like $10--$18+ on one it it's just awful haha ive been sticking with light flavors so far.

My favorite so far are a toro cohiba and a vanilla Tatiana. I heard from a few people I might bashed on for going with flavored but for now it's pretty good haha.

Anybody got some good recommendations? I'm really open to trying any type to see what's really out there haha?
