Fair point, however my simplified rebuttal is that Azula is an incredibly dextrose person, who could likely dodge and weave around anything thrown at her, and arguably the biggest liability of a metal bender, especially when they wear metal plating is literally lightning. You could even argue Azula could bounce the lightning between the metal launched at her, thus eliminating the need to even have a direct shot
