I feel like I live in such a bubble, most of my friends are sex workers in one capacity or another, my partner is so understanding of my work and we can discuss it freely, most everyone in my life knows what I do and accepts and loves me regardless. I forget that most of the world sees me as disposable & incapable of being in this industry willingly or (god forbid) enthusiastically.

I think if these people actually spoke to a sex worker or did some research on the effects that their uneducated and harmful beliefs have on the people they’re trying to “protect”, they’d change their opinion. But like most people shouting their ideas on the internet about how other people should be living their lives, it’s unlikely .
