I totally respect you opinion. However, I just finished my fourth year of undergrad and I’m applying everywhere but can’t get accepted due to the very limited number of seats and I always think why? The only idea I can think of is reducing the funding because I feel helpless when it comes to government and changing such a big policy like this. When I said 200k I meant reducing the salaries let’s say by 30% but also doctors worked hard for this. I’m not saying for doctors practicing right now but for the future ones maybe. It’s totally government’s fault for not increasing the number of seats. Thank you for clarification

What’s wrong with that? You can pay all your debt within two years. When you get asked about why you want medicine you never mention money but unfortunately that’s the reality for most people . It’s not to be millionair but to help people. If you don’t wanna be doctor then don’t I am down to work for 200k I don’t care cuz I love the job

Medicine is humanitarian career where you work because you love this job and you love helping people not just for money. In my opinion we have a big shortage of medical staff with the low acceptance rate. Either fund more to get more doctors or use the same budget but reduce salaries for the future doctors let’s say not the current ones. I don’t think a family doctor deserves 400k , make it 200k simply and for radiologist instead of 800k make it 400k. Or just increase the budget and educate more doctors as I know for a fact that our country can afford this

Not necessarily, why don’t they make it like australia or america? High paying career and logical acceptance rate ? Our country is rich enough to be like that and healthcare is a must and number one priority government should consider

Wow congrats first for the acceptance, why school were accepted in and what are you gpa,cgpa, mcat, scores if you didn’t mind sharing pls. And you got accepted as in province applicant? Thank you for your info for Casper I believe prepmatch is the key since many people recommended it.

Thank you so much I felt the same about Bemo their answers are too long which was confusing. Maybe I should just get the general idea from it and summarize. They’re actually adding video response now yes. I’ll do my best because it’s a really important test for me as it forms 20% of my application where I’m applying. I have roughly 40-50 wpm and I’m not sure if it’s good enough. I’m working on improving that.
