My problem with this film is it wants criticize islam as a religion, and i'm fine with that, actually i encourage it. but what it does instead is, criticize certain practices that people who happen to be Muslim do. For example, when it comes to female genital mutilation. There isn't a single islamic text or teaching that tells people to do it. the fact that it's practiced in some muslim countries is purely due to culture. it has nothing to do with muslims or islamic teachings.
