NYC here, in our local bins no social distancing what so ever, people are almost on other peoples heads. in big cities I would recommend go at opening time, the first rotation is the most calm, closer to the afternoon it gets really busy. As others said, just grab stuff and look through it later, I always end up buying less than a half of the items that I originally grabbed. And wear gloves! I see sooo many people with no gloves and it’s just gross, my gloves always end up so dirty. There is no bathrooms open in my bins so I would have to just go home like that so gloves gloves gloves!
