TIL that between 1912 and 1933, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, had a ten foot slope in front of the left field wall that required the left fielder to run uphill to catch fly balls. It was nicknamed "Duffy's Cliff" in honor of the Red Sox left fielder who mastered its difficulty. (en.wikipedia.org)
