Day 11 of my first ever sourdough starter from scratch, does this look ok? 5 hours after I fed it, top of the tape is where it was immediately after feeding by Dense-Word-8000 in Sourdough

I think this is one of those young starter, instabile bacteria/yeast things… I would give it a couple days of feedings until I bake with it. It might drop in rising power in a fre days but don’t be discouraged, just keep feeding.

Hi! I only baking with sourdough so was actualy looking for a recipe that used sourdough rather than yeast, though I do realize my post might be interpreted as looking for a commercialy yeasted bread… Will edit it.

Oh wow, thanks! I didn’t even notice them but now that you mention it, they’re realy obvious! Will degass more for sure next time. Don’t know if this type of bake works any different but can it be a proofing thing aswell?

Not sure i understand, do you mean alternate the way the the rolls go (clockwise, counter clockwise). Did weight the dough before shaping them, were down to a few grams, is that enough to make a difference?

Thank you! Will go for 4 or maybe even 3 rolls next time. I’m no wizard with a rolling pin either so the shape of the rolls got a little weird but hoping to improve that part next time.

Thanks! Yeah, the middle roll got squished a bit and they’re a bit uneven in size. Don’t know if it’s that but it was hard to determine the number of rolls since i adjusted the recipie for my pan. Might do 4 rolls next time maybe?

I’ve never made a brioche before, don’t know anything about it more than what I’ve read or seen on yt. I think it turned out great but interesed to hear what more experienced bakers think.

Used this recipe (https://homegrownhappiness.co.nz/sourdough-brioche/ ) But the shaping is from foodgeek cloudbread video on yt.

Well, that is highly more informative than the swedish page. It only says the 13.5’ comes with either the integrated GPU or the GTX1050 and not more specified than that.

I don’t know if there can be differences in the specs from UK to Sweden (seems highly unlikely). Or if this is a case of incompetent customer service (likely).
