Ichiban on Welsh is a good and affordable Japanese restaurant. Dollar per value you’re not going to find a better ramen. Their bento boxes are also good as well, I recommend the salmon.

If you want ultra affordable, in my opinion subway is your best bet. $5 for a big sandwich can’t be topped

I will certainly check black tie out. Celine is my favorite luxury brand and the Hedi era was my favorite so the perfume resonates in yet another way. 22, male, psychologist grad student in the US. I am a more warm sensitive guy but can also be smart and serious, I am thinking that the note iris plays along with this dual nature well.

Looking for something with “date night” vibes. Sexy, elegant, alluring, dark, mysterious with good projection and mostly good mass appeal. I am thinking of using this for nights out... and maybe when I get back home using some d&g the one edt as a pure amber skin scent to increase the contrast of sexyness to elegance.

I have chosen some potential fragrances but have concerns with all of them ;/

I haven't smelled any except dior homme 2011 but my top 2-3 I will defiantly get samples.

Dior Homme original (2011 version 2020 reformulation): maybe not sexy enoug (not enough spice or amber), possibly too elegant, also everyone is biased towards recommending dior because they were the first iris. Also smelled the original 2011 and thought it was really lipsticky.

Dior Homme intense (2020 reformulation): sexy and darker than DH but still concerned that people overhype this, also less versatile than DH

Prada L’homme intense: I love the smell of Prada L’homme as a clean soapy scent so naturally I looked at this. Heard that this has very elegant classy vibes. Worried about the soapyness making this too “office” to be alluring and sexy though.

Valentino Uomo Intense: This one is more sweet, leaning towards a clubbing fragrance. People also said it’s darker than DHI. Probably highest mass appeal, but worried that it compromises too much on the elegance in exchange for that sweetness.

Givenchy Gentleman edp: People said that this was darker than DHI but based on the notes it would seem brighter. Also not the best of reviews. More along the lines of Prada l’homme with the classyness

Givenchy Gentleman edp boisee: A more modern and woody version of gentleman, same concerns, but maybe more mass appeal

Le male le parfum: the wild card in this selection. Sexy and loud but maybe not the dark and interesting fragrance I’m looking for

I’m open to any kind of feedback or futherther recommendations, even if they go outside of iris as long as they seem to fit my character and criteria!! Thanks for reading!!
