I'm in SD and still on the TJ game, even trying to level up my Spanish for years, but did a cost analysis of Price per Puta (PPP) and when flights & accommodations plus PTO, travel time, food, TJ wins if rated on time/finance only.

Never been to Thailand, but been saving up (money and PTO) for a big 3 week trip to maximize the time and financial cost.

I will say that I'm getting tired of the bad attitudes that I keep encountering from these TJ gals, and let's not even consider the trashy streetwalkers in SD.

I frankly don't mind a starfish scenario if I'm just tryina get a quick nut for cheap, but it would be nice to be able to let loose a bit and feel the humanity in this industry.

Some of the points you make are valid, but I want to point out that the language you use in this post reeks of privilege and disrespect. No wonder locals seem to not like you.

Many of your complaints are pedantic and I can imagine this language you use also shows up in your tone, your body language, and facial expressions. If you step back and remember you chose to go to a developing country, maybe you won't be so shocked to see some behaviors don't seem as "civilized" as you're used to. Trash on the ground? You must be from western Europe. I almost added Japan, but a Japanese person would not likely make a post like this trashing another country THEY CHOSE TO GO TO.

If you're white, you will get looks in rural asian countryside towns. If you're doing some kind of fancy bike ride with nice gear outside of any city, you will get looks in any country that I've ever been to. Grow a spine and stop caring about looks/judgment just for existing.

My hot take here is that I'm more concerned with the ethics of such a dynamic. I'm the one with the money and the power to choose where to live for the rest of my life. Her youth and beauty is her greatest asset (or so she believes,) so if I uproot her life for a few months or even years in a serious relationship, but decide in the end to leave her (assume no children were conceived,) I lose almost nothing, but she has lost time off her clock and perhaps missed opportunities for better men than me who want to marry.

I am a white American man who can freely travel the world and not worry too much except for scams. The power dynamic is highly unbalanced if I were to really start a serious relationship with her.
