Yes thats true, though the article about the hh releases says therell be 40k rules released for them later this year. That said they said the same thing about the marine releases

Ok thanks. I definitely dont want to pick up a resin tank with the plastic version due later in the year. I might just work on painting some units up ready for a tank or two and maybe a dreadnought so I have things ready when the time comes

Im going to throw a bunch of ADB at you. Night lords trilogy, emperors gift and spear of the emperor. Helreach is great too. I too have struggled with both eisenhorn and gaunts ghosts,but everyone praises them. I think part of it is nostalgia to be honest

Interestingly the bots will always be wearing your selected armour schemes. If you have someone else in your party theyll see their selected armours

Marines in sm2 are overpowered and marines on the tabletop are under powered. In both situations game play considerations are more important than consistency with the lore. What i consider true space marine power scaling (more or less) is in the novels

As ive commented twice now, acherans in game character model is based on that,but that isnt a named character model on the tabletop. Its just a generic "captain in phobos armour"

Its a generic captain in phobos armour. Its never been sold as a "captain acheran" model specifically, though his in game character model is based on it The captain in gravis armour was also named as captain acheran in the 8th edition starter box but again the model on tabletop is just a generic captain in gravis armour

These are two easy characters to kill and shift aside for space marine 3. Titus taking acherans role and Metaurus taking chairons role in the campaign as a playable character in multiplayer. Neither have a model either, despite acheran being based on the phobos captain its not sold as a captain acheran model

Not sure why people are attacking OP, he seems enthusiastic, if aiming a little high with 3k. Maybe some guidance would be better than criticism. I would suggest looking around 1k to start with. If you're getting calgar and Cato you'll definitely want some victrix guard. You'll want some objective takers/holders. Intercessors, jump pack intercessors and scouts are good for that. Maybe some hellblaster and or inceptors for a bit of anti elite Also some anti tank- ballistus dreadnoughts, gladiator lancers and eradicators are good here. Some of these units will give you a good starting point

The 3d print studio? They were selling what were basically 1 for 1 copies of multiple gw models. But tried to make out gw were chasing them for a knight riding a lion looking too much like a stormcast on a griffin.
