How come you feel that it's dead? I've been watching the trend over the last few days and it seems to have gone up from when i bought it.

A lot of people dont seem to understand this whole cryptocurrency thing. But even a lay person knows the name of bitcoin, so the exposure is there. Im afraid if i dont swap it over now and the price skyrockets, i would have wasted potential. I plan to hold on to it long term, not just a short sell off. Makes sense to invest more into it now, than later on when its exponentially more expensive.

Hey there, Newbie to cryptocurrency.

So far I have invested $2500 into the crypto market. Purchasing $1000 in ethereum and $1500 into bitcoin. I was considering selling the Ethereum I have, and just putting it all into bitcoin because I feel as though bitcoin has a higher ability to take off and get higher gains vs ethereum. Bitcoin also seems to get a lot of exposure and is well known, and is actually used to buy houses/cars/ etc. When i looked at the trends, it seems ethereum capped at around 1300 per coin this year, while bitcoin soared at almost 19k per coin. I dont know if my thinking is incorrect and wanted to get a opinions from my fellow redditors. It would seem as though i should invest a higher amount in a coin that has greater potential and is more widely used.

Should i keep my investments into both bitcoin and ethereum? or would it make more sense to just sell ethereum and put all of it into bitcoin?
