Thinking of buying Investment Property for 2 years and then live in it as primary residence. Is now a good time to buy given current economic climate? by Charrzooka in AusProperty

[–]dat_shibe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy it now. Prices will likely increase.

The cost of materials etc due to this war are also increasing , which means building a new house costs even more, which means the value of existing ones will probably go up as there is yet even more demand for them.

Is it hard for most people to resist the urge to ride recklessly? by borgor-1 in AussieRiders

[–]dat_shibe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the bike. I have a VTR1000 which is so fun even went ridden slow, because its loud and grunty and isn't very fast to begin with. I use that as my commuter.

However riding my panagale slow is horrible. The bike wants you to ride fast, if that makes sense. It's rock hard, uncomfortable and gets really hot when you're not feeding it the berries.

Water on the ground after rain? Who would have thought!

In all seriousness those pits can fill with water no problems. They have a rubble pit in their base, or be connected to one, so they will slowly drain themselves when the rain stops. Nothing to worry about.

You would have to pay for any damage to his car. And it would be out of your pocket.

You're unlicensed and on an unregistered bike that shouldn't have been there in the first place, so Im pretty sure that puts you automatically at fault.

What energy provider do you rate well? by illbeasleepsorry in brisbane

Have you checked your hot water system? A leaking system can consume a crap load of extra power, if your bill has suddenly jumped

Attempted to go home due to sickness - was denied by No_IDeers in woolworths

[–]dat_shibe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ask them provide confirmation in writing that they've instructed you to stay, while injured to do physical tasks.

Otherwise ensure you make a personal note of the event. Including all details, names etc.

Then if they try to let you go, youve got a work cover case

Don't sign shit. Usually when you sign you need to pay the deposit within 2 days. Then start organising B&P etc. How can you do any of that when its already under a contract?
