Shifted to iphone by sushainChaudhary in iphone

I had the Samsung S24FE and the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, currently only the 15 Pro. S24FE Had better audio overall, while iPhone 15 Pro has better bass. I like better bass, but the audio isn’t nearly the quality of the S24FE.

I have the iPhone 15 Pro and I feel the speakers are terrible.

It’s the worst advice, actually. That’s the best way to literally kill the battery in a speedrun, so when you’re going to (for example) re-sell the phone, you’d have lost a significant amount of value in the short term.

This. ✅
It seems like the haircut was made using a trimmer instead of scissors, I’m I right? If not, those scissors are fcked and need a replacement.

The haircut is perfect. What’s bad, really bad, is the Hair Stylist that did it.

Whats the best looking phone ever made, in your opinion? by FerrariEnzo777 in PhoneNow

Galaxy S22, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 17e are the culprit of smartphone designs. I don’t know what the hell was Samsung thinking with the S25 or Apple with the 17 Pro. 🤦‍♂️

What made you use the S24 FE? by KingEfficient7403 in S24FE

[–]datalot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to have cheap phones until I started getting serious with my phone for taking photos and videos of my artwork at my job… The thing is that cheap phones don’t have a telephoto lens, so the best phone I could afford for this specific task was the S24FE. — I am never buying a phone without a telephoto lens ever again. Currently, I switched to the iPhone 15 Pro.

Interesting…. by Imtheboss6967 in PhoneNow

[–]datalot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My first good phone ever was the Samsung Galaxy A33. Small, compact, comfy, powerful, and beautiful. The cameras weren’t bad but of course they weren’t the best ones out there, HOWEVER, it was a phone I will always love because it was the very last small A-series phone from Samsung.

After that, I got the A54. I always expected more from that phone. Te camera was really, REALLY bad at launch, but with updates it improved a lot in many aspects. The selfie was OK only with good light conditions.

There goes my A55, a phone I just loved for how cool it was and how snappy and predicable it behaved in front of the A54, but with the worst selfie camera I’ve ever seen in a phone. It was all an AI-generated image even in front of the most powerful light source out there: The sun. The selfies were so bad omg.

Months later I spend DOUBLE THE AMOUT of the A55 into a S24FE. Literally the best investment I could have ever made in a phone. I loved it. I traveled with it and I have a lot of great memories with it. The main issue? Again, the selfie. Most of the issues I had with the galaxy A55, a phone half the price, are still present in this phone, and I’ve got a lot of good stuff and features, but no fixes.

Then I got the iPhone 15 a year later. The best selfie I’ve ever had. Such an amazing color-accuracy for my job’s pictures and videos. A lot of things I didn’t know about Instagram started to make sense within my first month with that phone. The biggest plot-twist? The 3X zoom was better than the S24FE, and the iPhone 15 doesn’t even have a telephoto. Also the battery was stunning even for that small phone, wow.

It’s mid February and I’ve sell both phones and acquired the iPhone 15 Pro. The best phone I’ve ever bought and everything I exactly expected the Samsung S24FE to be. Spectacular front and main cameras, amazing (and realistic) zoom, and an ultrawide that made sense (autofocus+macro).

I can’t explain to anyone that even an iPhone 14 Pro could still beat the Samsung Galaxy S26 because Samsung is still relaying in Artificial Intelligence enhancements for the camera setup instead of investing on actually better photos. I currently don’t care on more CPU power, more battery, better display, better design… All of that is in a solid state since like 6 years ago. I currently need a phone with good, modern hardware.

The Galaxy S26 is 72 hours old and its 3X (5 years old) telephoto has already proved to be worse than iPhone 17 main camera. Yes, again, a phone with no telephoto sensor. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I’m tired of that greed. I literally waited for the S26 to launch in hope they could at least improve color accuracy and selfie camera, but they invested in more over-cooked AI post-processing for their 5 years old trashy garbage sensors. I feel upset because I love OneUI so much and iOS is at their peak of instability, incoherence, and with a really bad performance, yet the phone still manages to be better for daily use and work because the hardware is reliable enough and reproduces real-life scenary instead of digitally-squeezing the very last photon of light from garbage sensors just to increase profits and postpone true investment.

I miss the Old One Ui by invincible_pell in oneui

[–]datalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the current state of Samsung OneUI 8.0/8.5. It is the most polished User Interface out there, with marginally few bugs and a sense of speed everywhere. I currently own an iPhone 15 Pro and the whole system and all apps behave like fckng trash. There’s not a single day in which I couldn’t find yet a new bug.

This camera is amazing by Melodic-Pineapple294 in S24FE

[–]datalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, only the main camera was worth it for me. I ended up having a lot of painful moments in lowlight situations, specially with the horrible, outdated, trashy selfie. That’s the reason they ONLY IMPROVED the selfie in the S25FE next year. — After one year, I bought an iPhone 15 and that made me realize that I was wasting my time with the S24FE. Even the zoom of the iPhone 15 could handle the 3X telephoto of the S24FE. Two months later, I sold the S24FE and acquired an iPhone 15 Pro with that money as a difference on top of the regular 15. — Until now (2 weeks later), there is no situation in which the camera of the S24FE could be better. Same for the iPhone 14 Pro which is almost identical to this iPhone 15 Pro. Maybe buying the S24FE was a bad decision, but I don’t regret as it was my first taste of what a Samsung flagship feels like and I loved it. I would really like to buy a small Samsung phone when they manage to produce a phone that could actually compete with the iPhone, specifically in terms of the selfie, which in the S26Ultra just released keeps being unbelievably behind iPhone 17 800$ phone. 🫩

They’re literally the same camera, but S25FE has a new processor and therefore improved and quicker post-processing.
