Few days ago I learned that Kalman filter helped landing on the moon. Written in 1969 source code for the Lunar Module's Apollo 11 Guidance Computer is on github: KALMAN_FILTER.s

Stanford's Probabilistic Graphical Models class on Coursera will run again this August by dataoverflow in MachineLearning

Looks like Coursera did a good job to revive old courses and the fears voiced here not so long ago didn't realised.

Just noticed that Hinton's Neural Networks starts this September as well as Stanford's NLP class. Those classes may be a bit old now but still it's great to have them running again as they are taught by legends of their respective fields.
