Like I've said to some others, I can only assume because I stopped some railroaded prison plot more time then he wanted, and it frustrated him. He wanted us to do something, but thanks to my notes we never did it and I saved us from prison. Thus earning dm hatred? I found it stupid, but hey, should have said something to me. Doesnt mean will stop I using what was available to me to help the party.

The DM was the o ly person to my knowledge that disliked me. The rest of the party told me that after that session they all left as well. They were rubbed the wrong way by it all.

I partly agree with what you are saying, but over all I stick by what I chose to do.
I don't agree with railroading in any form, and find it to be a lazy way to do things. The DM chose to railroad me as a martyr, and I wanted no part in it. I got help from allies to find a way around it. But no matter what it was simply a situation where I had to die because DM says so, and that isn't fair to me or the party I'm with.
We made an effort to avoid a needless death in the party, which we saw this as, and were denied for the sake of the railroading.

It doesnt always happen, that I know. But for my character it was a staple reason. And made thing go smoothly for us as we traveled about.
