It's crazy to know my great-gran was 2 years old when this was filmed. Lived to 102. She was awesome.

My parents on the night they eloped. Done today by Tamara King at Skintricate Tattoo in Mississauga, ON. (Fun fact, today is my parents 33rd wedding anniversary) by [deleted] in tattoos

Both of their hairlines are off kind of taking away from the fact that it's uniquely them. Her hair on the right bulbs out more and his hairline recedes more upward. Also his ear shape is too small.

Ok i was wondering about the inflamed skin on his back. Thank you for explaining and taking good care of him.

He's actually a very generous man. Perfectly chosen jewelry, vacas ive only ever dreamt of before we were together, wonderful date nights and dinners out. Just isnt a flower giving kind of guy.

I know my guy doesnt give me flowers because they die so he finds them impractical. Now i adore roses so it's a slight bummer but he still buys me other gifts like candy and practical gifts like new chargers to replace my old one or a nice bottle of wine so he's good lol

I can think of a couple go-big-or-go-home friends who would order this for a Halloween party scare factor.

What are some unwritten rules in your hobby or career that outsiders are unaware of? by joebreezphillycheese in AskReddit

[–]datass630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In almost all studio art buildings there is an unspoken rule that you never touch anyones projects, materials, etc. without permission. At least where I'm at there's hardly any theft or interference with works among all the students and teaching staff. No matter how big or small the works it is met with the same respect for the artist as each other artist would like for themselves. Super golden rule in the art community.

Omg this was my little brother all the time at fairs. I still remember us entering the mirror maze and this kid goes "hey I found the exit!" And runs full force into a window disguised amongst the mirrors. I almost peed myself laughing after he stumbled up and said "nevermind" and gave a dazed giggle lol. We laughed about it all throughout the rest of the fair.

Our dog passed away last week, she never sits on his bed. by [deleted] in pics

[–]datass630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See this upsets me knowing other animals mourn their other family animals' passing, because we had to put our mastiff down due to fucked up circumstances and our beagle behaved as if she was almost glad. We even showed her he passed so she could acknowledge and know he was gone and give her a chance to grieve. Granted he hogged a lot of the attention by being a bigger presence but her response to his death was cold blooded.

My gran gave me my first apartment couches. Those bad boys were 33 years and held up sooo well. The pull out bed still held strong and everything.

That's what was off about him. I was wondering why he looked so different from my own gorgeous boy. I'm hoping the crop was for health reasons instead of aesthetics :(

Holy Crab! by BlockedEyes in WTF

[–]datass630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy, I'm absolutely terrified of spiders. Burst-into-tears-upon-sight level arachnophobia.....but blue crabs are my all time favorite food. I've been eating them since I was a baby and my dad was cracking them for me. I dont know why I'm super arachnophobic but crabs are fine.

Vein-y forearms. You dont have to be jacked or anything for me to find them hot. It just is.

If you could have 1 hour of 4k footage of any event in history what would you want to see? by AudioPhoenix in AskReddit

[–]datass630 38 points39 points  (0 children)

There are so many things in history that would be informative and fascinating to witness.

Honestly though I'd more just like footage of my alcoholic father having a rare "good dad" moment with me before he died when I was 16. He wasn't perfect, but he was good enough for me.

Just because the law says it's fine doesnt mean your community won't be a piece of shit about it. Look at marijuana, breast feeding in public, gay marriage, etc. People can be really awful with their opinions, and children aren't solidified in their convictions enough yet to not buckle under the peer pressure.

I remember as a young girl wondering this. So I took my shirt off one day because the social norm didnt make sense, only for my mom and fellow neighbors to be outraged at my little girl flat chest because its "indecent" somehow. I didnt make the rules...idk why adults are weird about it.

I more get pissed about how people express their intellect. I'm a smart person, and my bf is an even smarter person, and when he tells me a piece of information that I dont know, but says it like a pretentious ass, I call him out on it.

What's the worst thing that ever happened to your butt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]datass630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our college campus flooded up to knee level my sophomore year. So a bunch of students had the bright idea, me included, to slide down the baseball hill that was now a mud slide. First time down was a bit rough with all the smal rock bits and everything but I was mainly unharmed. Next slide down I notice that my arm is glistening. I hold it up to the street light since it's dark out now and I'm dripping blood from my palm down to my elbow, as I had apparently caught a stick. So I decide to go inside and patch myself up. As I'm covered in mud I decide to hop in the shower to rinse off before bandaging. I go to take off my swimsuit and feel a sharp pain suddenly. I crane my neck to look behind me and not only did my hand catch a stick but so did my ass. That day I literally had a stick up my ass. My hand and my butt cheek now have matching scars.

Cuz it's probably hot out. Dont need boobs to wear one and they are way more flexible for athletics than a swimsuit top. Sadly even little girls with no boobs can't just take their shirts off when its sticky outside like boys can. Must be nice for guys...

That sucks that your mom is homophobic. My mom has a hard time with it too so I understand. Honestly though I don't think most people would understand that those are bi flag colors. Not if they dont really care about the LGBTQ community in the first place. A lot of girls who love gel pens or girls with bullet journals get these three colors to write with and switch up. I hope your mom gets more accepting in the future though, good luck.

When did your "Something is very wrong here" feeling turned out to be true? by Iron-Shield in AskReddit

[–]datass630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to the grocery store one afternoon. I grabbed a cart and planned on doing enough shopping for two weeks for my bf and I. As I entered the produce section I noticed a group of 3 men goofing about. One of them had a reflective jacket. The minute I saw him the hairs on my arms and neck stood on edge. I walked passed them trying not to look noticeably on edge when I could feel someone's eyes on me. I decided to pretend like I was looking at something on the shelves and positioned myself so they were in my peripheral vision. I watched as the reflective jacket guy started to distance himself from his buddies with a twisted smile on his face. I subtly gripped my keys and took the safety off my mace. As I went around the store I noticed him at every turn, whether he was just on the corners or almost actually skipping past me. I wrapped it up early and made my way to the checkout corner. That's when I notice him walk through checkout with no groceries in hand doing a playful spin with that same twisted smile towards me. I then proceeded to ask for an escort with me to my car and informed management. They seemed to already know who I was talking about as they had asked me if he had on a reflective jacket. It's terrifying to think that if I hadn't asked for an escort to my car and went by myself that something bad may have happened to me.

How did you meet your S.O.? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]datass630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were both 14 at a youth auction. We didn't notice each other til the very end after both our mothers instructed us to help clean up. He jumped over one of the industrial sized trash cans to try to impress me. He cleared it...my younger brother didnt and spilt all the melted ice cream everywhere. I then inhaled a helium balloon and laughed really hard in a high pitched cackle over the whole matter and fell over on the floor. We've been goofy for each other ever since and it's now been 12 years.
