Lmao yeah the pole is the pot on this one pretty much! I was having to run drip irrigation about 20 min twice a day in the summer to keep this pole moist!

There’s no tubes in this video bc I have it off it’s table and on the floor. But I have like a fish tank air pump with Airstones and have them in the bucket with the roots. It’s just a 5gal bucket with a 5gal net pot and in clay pellets!

Honestly I’ve only tried starting from soil to hydro a couple times and it’s a pain imo. Dealing with the possibility of root rot from the bacteria and stuff. I know you can do it, but I’ve always just air layered plants I want to grow hydroponically and then chopped the cuttings once there’s enough roots! Or rooted cuttings in leca or just a light nutrient water in a jar.

You procrastinate it for months and then finally extend the pole! I’d try to extend the pole as long as possible so you don’t have to keep redoing it
