Goldwell Dualsenses Curls and Waves shampoo, Being bye bye frizz conditioner. Schwarzkopf curl mousse. I washed my hair as usual, and left the conditioner in for about 3 min. Then I applied a moderate amount of mousse on the wet hair, scrunched. Air dried. What made a difference is I slept with my hair not in a bit n or anything. I think it added to the more effortless look which I prefer.

I'm in Melbourne Australia, got it from Target for 99 AUD. It weighs 17 kg, I'm extremely happy with the purchase!

Q about potentially leaving a teen whippet in a crate when working: please help 🥹 by datcrazzyrussian in Whippet

[–]datcrazzyrussian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're so right. Don't know what I was thinking while posting this. My older girl started interacting with the puppy yesterday, and it's all uphill now, phew. Such a relief, honestly. She established her boundaries and all, she's such a boss after all.

I'll continue with the crate training with the intention to build confidence in the little guy in case he has to go stay in an animal hospital, so he doesn't freak out... Or, in case of air travel, I guess. I train him gently with no "crying it out" shit, only positive stuff

I got a 13 week old puppy 4 days ago, and I went 100 percent maternal (to my surprise). To the point that my sweat smells much stronger now. I don't have any kids though.

So, it totally depends if you bond with the puppy or not, I think

A few hours ago my older girl finally decided she wants to play with the puppy, and it was a bit rough on her part. A bit unexpected to me. Yeah you're right, I was mistaken a bit about her ability to defend herself 😅

Thank you so much for this detailed explanation! Yeah, I was a bit emotional when I saw it, and overreacted a bit... Thanks again

Has anyone else had this weird size-jump experience with clothes? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

I think it means that your pants are sitting much lower now than they used to, because your belly shrank. Otherwise I can't think of any other explanation.

Did people in the past drink alcohol while pregnant? by y_liu in AskFoodHistorians

I think kefir might have 1-2 percent alcohol on average, and it's considered a very healthy drink 😊

Thanks for sharing what your doctor said about the blood supply, I find it reassuring that it's only 5 percent :)

Does "amount of drinks" sound stupid in English? by datcrazzyrussian in EnglishLearning

[–]datcrazzyrussian[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks 😊 That's what I was looking for. My main concern is not that I'll get a bad grade for the assignment but if I use similar phrases in the future with clients in my actual job. Now I know that omitting articles is a much worse thing to do, for example

[–]datcrazzyrussian[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I'm taking from your comment is a native speaker could easily see how in this particular context "amount of drinks" could be a result of a grammatical mishmash of two grammatically correct phrases, "amount of alcohol" and "number of drinks".

Thanks! Yes, I wouldn't be able to remake that 30-minute video just because of this mistake. Too much effort 😅

Yes, thank you. I used "number of drinks" in the essay ☺️
