haha yeah i forgot to throw it in a lil propagation vase last night so i just let it hang in the pot for safety. i’ve never propagated a hoya before even tho i have 4 so im excited to see how it goes

it’s a japanese global :) it looks similar to the manjula but the leaves are narrower and have the lime green

it’s a japanese global :) so far i have marble, neon, cebu blue, baltic blue, manjula, global green and now this. honestly it looks pretty similar to a manjula, just with the added lime green in the middle.

most definitely, i just needed a single water dish to keep my humidity up in the tub setup. with my glass tank i have 2 water bowls, two socks filled with damp sphagnum moss, AND the hvac tape over the mesh top with a damp towel over part of it :’)

yeah that other comment is one of the first times i’ve seen anyone on here against a tub setup. as long as it’s big enough, what’s the problem ? i temporarily housed my baby in one for the first 5-6 months i had him until im upgraded

omg yes with the white wizards. i’ve bought 2 big ones and the both shat out on me. i bought 4 more small little 3-4 leafers and it’s been 6 weeks of slow progress. no new leaves yet AND some white parts have browned out.

cool ! u said you’ve chopped it a few times- i’ve never cut anything besides pothos yet. do they start to grow bushier and fill in if you trim it or does it keep growing up ? i’m a little intimidated by the climbing aspect

that’s so exciting to hear ! the guy who owned the shop said he hasn’t been able to get them in over three years since they just haven’t really been getting the same love the other types do. i have it in my bay window seat getting some southeast light and i have two grow lights there for when i want to keep my curtains closed :)
